Sheldon is Executive Vice-President and General Counsel at Lone Eagle Entertainment Ltd. 

Sheldon has over 25 years of experience in the entertainment industry and has been an Executive Producer and/or Co-Executive Producer on a variety of network and cable television series and specials. Sheldon’s Executive Producer or Co-Executive Producer credits at Lone Eagle include “You Gotta Eat Here!”, “Too Much Information”, “Wipeout Canada”, “Tribes of the 21st Century”, “Carlawood” and Meme gURL. 

Sheldon started in-house in the broadcast industry as the Vice-President of Corporate Development and General Counsel for YTV Canada Inc. in 1996 and then took on the same role for the Television Division of Corus Entertainment Inc. when it acquired YTV. In these roles Sheldon was responsible for all legal matters relating to the commissioning of television productions from producers across the country with total budgets well in excess of $100 million. Sheldon was then promoted in 2000 to Vice-President of Corporate Development for Corus Entertainment Inc., where he reported to the CEO and was part of a small senior management team. 

Sheldon began in the business in 1987 as a full-time entertainment lawyer with the Toronto law firm of Cassels, Brock & Blackwell LLP. Sheldon became a partner in the Entertainment and Media department of Cassels Brock in 1991.
